Don't Stop Readin'

Hi guys, I'm Anushka (or Annie, if you like). I'm a serial reader and a more-than-occasional reviewer and I like to mention authors by their names in my reviews. (Ha! Suck it GoodReads!)

The Tales of Beedle the Bard - J.K. Rowling

WOW! I loved it which is no surprise as it was written by THE J.K. Rowling.

Tales of Beedle the Bard was also mentioned in Deathly Hallows along with The Tale of Three Brothers, which is one of the stories in this book.
It is a collection of fairy-tales for wizards & witches which was left by Dumbledore in his will to the Hogwarts Archives. The book is said to be edited by Hermione with permission from Professor McGonagall, Headmistress of Hogwarts. (Yeay! :D ) And Dumbledore has made some curious notes at the end of each fable.

All the stories were a delight to read and I am astonished by how meaningful they were! Hardly 10 pages long, still carried more substance than other authors will ever be able to include in their brick-sized books.
And of course, as always we had Dumbledore to help us delve deeper and understand those little tales more clearly.

J.K. Rowling will never cease to amaze me, never. <3
