Don't Stop Readin'

Hi guys, I'm Anushka (or Annie, if you like). I'm a serial reader and a more-than-occasional reviewer and I like to mention authors by their names in my reviews. (Ha! Suck it GoodReads!)

The God of Small Things - Arundhati Roy OH DEAR LORD! What the hell was this?
The writing was wayyyyyyyy too typical. I read only 110 pages and dropped it. I had no clue where the story was going. It was so intense that I couldn't even distinguish between characters and story line.
This book is a Booker Prize winner and for sure, I'll try to read it sometime in the future, when I am grow up enough to understand what and all has been written , for now - Tata, bye-bye to this.
